he Pico Macom PRR series optical return receivers are densely populated receiver units that take an optical input from a

return transmitter and convert it to a 5~200MHz RF signal. Designed to meet CATV applications, each PRR Series receiver

has a wide (-2dBm to 0dBm) optical input range that enables it to maintain a high-output RF level with negligible distortion.

These optical receivers utilize a new low noise, impedance matched, high efﬁciency 1310/1550nm broadband photodiode and

advanced RF ampliﬁcation circuitry to facilitate carriage of critical downstream video, data, telephony and Internet trafﬁc in an

HFC broadband environment.

•  Optical power monitoring.

• 5~200MHz return bandwidth for CATV return path.

•  High 45dBmV RF output at an optical wavelength of

1310/1550nm provides excellent C/N ratio.

•  -20dB RF system test point to monitor the RF output of

the receiver.

•  Low power consumption.

•  Wide optical window of -2dBm to 0dBm for improved

system performance.
